Where do I pick up my registration materials?

You will need to pick up your name badge along with Seminar materials when you arrive at the hotel. Visit the TIDA registration desk. Your name badge serves as entry to all events, including social activities.

What do I do if I need to cancel?

TIDA is not offering refunds for cancellations. Should you need to cancel, complete the cancellation request form.

Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?

Yes. You may transfer your registration to someone else in your organization by filling out a substitution form. Substitutions must be submitted by December 15, 2025. 

Substitutions are not accepted after this date or by phone/email. If your substitute is a non-member vendor or attorney, you will need to upload an invitation from a current TIDA member inviting this individual. Additional invoicing will be required for member to non-member substitutions.

Is there a deadline to book my hotel room at the group rate? Where do I make the reservation?

Each attendee is responsible for booking their own room. Limited rooms are available at the group rate for three days pre and post event, so consider extending your stay to enjoy the Big Easy. TIDA block rooms and available WHILE VACANCY LASTS or by the deadline of December 22, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Book online through TIDA's special link or call and request the TIDA Advanced Seminar block.

Does the hotel provide transportation to/from the airport?

The hotel does not provide transportation. You can reserve an Uber, Lyft, Taxi, or rent a car for your stay. (MSY) Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is 15 miles from the hotel and approximately a 25-minute ride.

What are the parking fees?

The hotel's parking is exclusively valet. The 24-hour valet parking service is at the hotel parking garage, located at 700 Conti Street/700 Bienville Street with approximate rate of $60/night.

For guests paying the daily overnight rate, there are unlimited in-and-out privileges, meaning you are free to come and go as often as you like throughout your stay. Simply request your vehicle from the valet when you are ready to leave and drop it off with them upon your return.

How do I get an attendee list?

Approximately one week prior to the event, you can expect to receive a "Tips For Your Trip email." This email will contain the attendee list including name, organization, city, and state in PDF format. TIDA does not provide contact information or attendee lists in any other format or by request.

Can I receive Continuing Education Units for attending the seminar?

  • Yes. The Advanced Seminar education sessions will be available for CEU/CE credit. PENDING STATES ARE TBD AND WILL BE POSTED CLOSER TO THE EVENT. TIDA is working with CEU Institute for credit approvals and distribution afterwards.
  • During the seminar, you will have to pick up the CEU Tracker sheet at the TIDA registration desk and return it back to the TIDA registration desk filled out. TIDA cannot accept the tracker form once you depart from the seminar.
  • All CEU Forms that are collected at the end of the seminar will be sent from directly to the CEU Institute to be processed. Attendees will be emailed a copy of the certificate directly from CEU Institute approximately 4-6 weeks post event.
  • **TIDA does not receive confirmation on states with pre-approval status until 2-3 weeks prior to the seminar. When this information is received, it will be posted to the schedule page.
  • If your state is not on the list, it will not be pre-approved for continuing education, however you may still be able to self-report based on that state's criteria.

What is the seminar attire?

TIDA Sessions/Social Events: Business casual wear is suitable.

    Women: dress shorts/capris, slacks, blouses, knit tops
    Men: khaki pants, dress shorts, collared shirts, slacks

We also recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket to the educational sessions, as the conference rooms can get chilly.

Will there be free Wi-Fi at the Seminar?

Basic Wi-Fi is available in all hotel guest rooms and suites. Plan accordingly if you require high-speed internet or connection within the meeting space.
